I hand cut all the large banner pieces and mats. I did a black stitching line on each one and added those adorable elves that I paper pieced from the PKSC-11 November 2012 stamp kit of the month set. I stamped the boys face using the Peachy Keen Moodies face stamps and the girls with a Sweet and Innocent face.
I created the rosettes by cutting a 1 1/2 X 12 inch strip of paper and scored it every 1/4 inch all the way to the end. I folded it back and forth and glued them together. The letters and scallop circles were cut with my Cricut.
The tiny banners and mats were cut using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banner Dies and I stamped those super cute images using Peachy Keens PKSC-23 November 2013 stamp kit of the month set. I colored each one with Copic markers and added a dotted line around the mats.

And here is what I made for my second project. I saw some people asking for Christmas card ideas, so I thought I would share this one with you too.

All of the stamps I used on this card are from the PKSC-23 November 2013  stamp of the month set. I stamped the stocking onto some fancy mats that I cut with my Cricut and Elegant Edges. I paper pieced the red part that I stamped with the Peachy Keen Cableknit background stamp and also stamped the bottom half of my card with it. Is that not the most awesome stamp ever?!?! I just LOVE that background!
I stamped the buttons and hand cut them out. I punched the holes out with a hole punch and tied some jute string through them. To finish I stamped the sentiment onto a banner and mounted it with pop dots.

If you are not familiar with the Stamp Kit Of The Month program at Peachy Keen, I will explain a little about it.
It is a monthly subscription that guarantees you a new stamp kit every month. They come in a 8 1/2 X 11 inch kit that is specifically designed for that month....always something new. You do not have to order every month, they will be automatically sent to you. And you get a savings by being a subscription holder. It's like Christmas EVERY single month! $25 and it includes FREE Shipping within the US!
Now if you are here from Barb then you're in the right place, if not then you may want to start in the beginning.  If you get lost I have the entire line up below this post.

Here is what I made: A Hook Pirate Ship

I started this project with the Mayflower Boat Treat Box from SVG Cutting Files. I used my embossing stylus and did some lines in the ships sides and inked the edges. I also added the plank by cutting a line in one of the grooves and added a strip of paper that I folded over 1/2 on the inside and glued down. I added the croc to the side and I cut that using the Chibi Kids Dressed as Jungle Animals but only used the croc's head.
I used a chop stick for the sail brace and cut a border piece in black for the sail. I added a flag at the top using My Craft Spot's Lacy Banner Metal Dies and the Hook stamp from the JB Villains Candies set. I also added another flag to the side of Hook with the sentiment stamped from the JB V Is For Villain stamp set. Oh and of course, I cut out that SUPER COOL Hook!
To finish I stamped the candies and added them with some filler inside the boat and a nugget with a treasure chest sticker on top.

Coffee Cup Gift Card Holders

Hello everyone! I am posting at the Peachy Keen blog and I wanted to share a project with you today.
It's getting so close to the holidays, it's nice to have fun little gifts to hand out to your friends, so I made these coffee cup gift card holders.

I bought the create your own cups last year and you are able to change out the paper on the insides. I used the piece that came in the cup as my template and cut out decorative paper for the insides.
I made a tag to tie to the top of the cups. I cut a 4 1/2 X 6 inch piece of Kraft cardstock and folded it half. Then I cut a 1/2 off the top corners, opened it up, and cut the fronts at an angle. After it was cut out I glued around the bottom and side to create the pocket for the gift card.
I paper pieced the cup from the PKSC-21 September 2013 Stamp of the Month kit and stamped on the face. I added some decorative paper to the front, did a black stitching line around the whole tag, and added a white stitched line around the steam from the cup. The sentiment is stamped from the Putsen and Jud Snow Couple stamp set.
To finish, I punched a hole in the tag, threaded some ribbon through around the cup and added gift cards to the pockets.

I hope you all liked my project today and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great Thanksgiving and weekend!

Just a reminder....I hope you will come back for several SUPER FUN Blog Hops this weekend!

Snowman Shaped Card

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is to create a Shaped Christmas Card.

I created this adorable card using SVG Cutting Files Chibi Holiday Set 1 for the snowman. I welded 2 of them together and used my Cameo to cut it out.
I stamped the face with a combination of 2 stamp sets. I used the Erkle and Merkle faces for the eyes and the Winter Face Assortment for the nose and mouth. I colored the pipe, nose, and eyes with Copic markers. I used My Craft Spot's Jar Basics Die set to cut out the tag and stamped the sentiment using the Mistletoe stamp set. To finish I attached the tag using a glitter brad.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created.
Have a great day!

I got out my Sew Easy and did that fun stitched line in purple and added some gum drops that were stamped in VersaMark ink using the Yummies! stamp set. I also added some stickles to them to glitter them up. The sentiment is stamped from the PKSC-11 November 2012 set.
I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to head over to Peachy Keen and see the other wonderful creations by the DT!

I cut out the tag using My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags Metal Dies and stamped the sentiment using the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set. I added it to the mat using a brad and added a bow to the bottom side.

I also added some Glossy                                                                           Accents to her shoes.

Eskimo Wishes

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THE MY CRAFT SPOT POST,
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN!

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I have a really fun card to share with you. I used the Penguin Boy With Bobber and the Igloo stamp sets for this card.

This was such a fun card to create! I love how these cutout card looks.
I stamped the penguin using the Boy With Bobber. I paper pieced his hat and colored the rest of him using Copic markers. The fish and igloo were cut using the Igloo stamp set and and I colored them with Copic markers also. I hand cut around each piece and mounted them to a blue mat with a white piece at the bottom for snow. I stamped the sentiment using the Igloo set and used some stickles on the snow line.

After all the pieces were attached to the background mat, I cut around the right corner leaving an extra wide border. I then mounted that to my card base and cut around it again only on the front layer. And that's how I got the shape of my card!
To finish I added a punched and layered snowflake to the corner of the inside and used some stickles to do a dotted line. I also stamped the inside sentiments.
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!

Merry And Bright

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is a sketch. Here is the sketch
And here is the card that I created.

I made a pocket card with a gift card on the tag.
I stamped and paper pieced that super sweet snow girl using Peachy Keen's Picture Snow Day stamp set. I used my sewing machine to do a stitched line around the card after I had my pocket in place. I hand cut around the snowflake circles from pattern paper and added that as a border. I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spots Joy Filled Christmas onto a banner that I cut out using the Ribbon Banner Dies- Straight. I cut it off in the middle and used the other half of the tag. I cut a simple tag and added the other half of the Banner Die and added another snowflake circle that I cut by hand.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's amazing projects!

Cider Card

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a really fun card to share. I used several My Craft Spot products on this card!
One of my FAV things in fall is the Hot Spiced Cider. I have ooodles on hand for those chilly nights and thought it would be fun to add a packet to a card, so this is what I came up with.

I stamped and paper pieced that adorable pumpkin using Peachy Keen's Haunted Pumpkin House and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen In Stitches face. I created the holder for the Cider packet using the Seed Packet file from SVG Cutting Files. I just made it smaller so it would fit the packet perfectly.
I stamped and paper pieced the leaves and acorn using MCS's Jar Full of Fall stamp set and added them to the packet with a pop dot. I cut out the tag using MCS's Jar Basics Metal Die set and stamped the "cider" sentiment from the Jar Full of Fall. To finish I stamped the sentiment using MCS's  Happy Thanksgiving stamp set onto a tag that I punched the end on and added a brown piece over the top.
I hope you all liked my card and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!
