Happy Day
Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for several challenges. The first is More Than Favors CCCC challenge which is to use Sweethearts. The second is for My Craft Spots Monday Challenge which is " Sew Much Fun" use some sort of stitching on your project.
I want to take a second and give a BIG shout out to Kimberly at My Craft Spot! I won several items in her new stamp release blog hop this last week and I just want to say THANK YOU! If you haven't seen her new stamp sets you really need to check them out. They are SO CUTE and not to mention the FABULOUS inspiration she had on her blog all week long! The projects were AMAZING! So THANKS AGAIN KIMBERLY!
For my card I cut the scallop frame and mat from Accent Essentials. I used my sewing machine and stitched the black line around the white frame and used a white and black pen for the other stitching. I cut the girl on scooter from Sweethearts and used a white and black pen for highlights. I embossed the basket with The Paper Studio's Mesh Texture folder and added punched flowers to the scooter and the girls hair. The little dog was cut from Four Legged Friends and I put him in the basket and stamped the sentiment. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

Birthday Wishes
Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for a couple of challenges! The first is Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday challenge which was to use Straight From The Nest. The second is for Tattered Time's CCCC challenge which is Birthday Cakes or something similar. I don't own BC but I saw an image that was close to this bird.
I cut the card base and layers from Straight From The Nest. I embossed the white circle with the Cuttlebug Spots and Dots folder and added a white stitching line around the outside of the card. The bird was also cut from SFTN and I stamped the face with Peach Keens Everyday Character Face stamps. The balloons were cut from Create A Critter and I tied a twine bow and added twine for the string. The sentiment tag I cut by hand and stamped the sentiment with a Stamp'n Up stamp. To finish I added Glossy Accents to the balloons, the pom on the hat, the eyes and the beak.
I hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for looking! Take Care!

Inspiring Words
Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Whimsical Wednesdays! This week the challenge is "Inspiring Words". Make a card/project using one of the words from the picture as your inspiration and you must use that word in your project.
For my card I chose to do a wedding card. To me, all of the words in the photo represent a marriage.
I used my Gypsy to weld together 2 hearts from Sweethearts and their shadows. The "Love" was also cut from Sweethearts twice. I layered all the images with pop dots to give it some dimension because this is an all white card and I wanted them to stand out. I embossed the background of the card with the Cuttelbug Textile folder and added a ribbon to the bottom. It was a very simple card to make, but I think that it is very elegant looking. This is actually going to my sister for her wedding card in a couple of weeks.
I hope you liked my card and will play along this week! Barb from BugBites is the sponsor for this challenge and you will be playing for her NEW All Year Round Stamp Set! This is such a cute set! If you haven't seen it yet, just click on the link and check it out!
Also if you didn't notice that cute badge on my sidebar, Whimsical Wednesdays is having a Halloween Blog Hop on Oct.7th, SO MARK YOUR CALENDERS! Your not going to want to miss this!
Have a great day and I can't wait to see what you will create!

CTO Challenge # 27
Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is " Any Occasion" but you must make a CIRCLE SHAPED card.
My card base and layers was cut from Birthday Bash at 5 inches. The inner white circle I used my hole punch and punched holes to make it look like a doiley. The banner was also cut from BB at 2 inches and I cut off the bird. The puppy was cut from Sweethearts at 3 inches and I used a black and white pen to do some highlighting. The horn in his mouth is also from BB that I flipped and cut at 2 inches. To finish I stamped the sentiment, added some twine to the banner, and used a white gel pen to do some stitching around the outside of the card.
I hope you all like my card and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you will create!
Have a great day!
I am going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts Challenge #47 this week which is to make a birthday project.

Mini Baby Book
Happy Sunday everyone! I have a mini album to show you today. My brother and his wife are having their first baby at the end of October and I wanted to make a mini album for them. This will be my FIRST nephew/niece from one of my brothers or sister, so I am extremely exited!
All the paper I used is from the DCWV Baby Boy Stack and I made the book using my Bind It All.
For the cover I cut the monkey from Sweethearts and the name from Robots. The alligator, giraffe, little bird on the turtle, and bee were cut from Create A Critter. The elephant was cut from Cricut Sampler and the turtle was cut from Walk In My Garden.
The DCWV stack I used had all these cute sayings with pictures and journaling box's, so I cut them apart, matted them, and placed them on the pages. I added ribbon to some pages and also a button with twine tied through it.
I am so proud of this book! I think it turned out adorable and I hope they will love it as much as I do!

Birthday Bag
Hello everyone! I am so happy that I got a little time to play with my Imagine. For some reason I just don't ever use it! So I finally got around to using it and here is a gift bag that I made to enter into a couple of challenges.
I printed and cut the bag from Imagine More Cards at fit to page and I flooded filled it with a pattern from the same cart. I also cut another top for the flap on the bag. How did I do that without cutting an entire other bag you ask? Well I lined up approximately where the top would be cut and put a piece of pattern paper there. That way I didn't have to cut the entire bag. The cake and layers were also cut from IMC at 2.3 inches. I pop dotted the top layer of cake. To finish I punched holes in the bag so I could wind some ribbon through and made a tag that I stamped.
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
My Craft Spots Monday Challenge- Gift Boxes or Bags
Fantabulous Cricut- Piece of Cake, use a cupcake or other baked good.
Getting Cricky Simple Sunday Challenge- Party of favor project

I cut the Yorkie from Four Legged Friends at 3 inches and stamped the face with a PK Medium Critters stamp. I did some chalking and used a white gel pen for the freckles and added a twine bow. The heart with paw print was also cut from FLF at 1.5 inches. I added Glossy Accents to the paw print and dots with a white gel pen. To finish I stamped the sentiment from Pink By Design's Be Mine set, punched a border strip, and added twine. I hope you all are having a great night and have a wonderful weekend!

I'm Sorry!
Hello everyone! Here is a card that I made for a friend of mine. When I was at her house I accidentally broke something of hers and I felt just TERRIBLE about it! She LOVES squirrels and so I made this cute little set to give her.
For the card I made the base in my Gypsy by welding 2 acorns together from Create A Critter and cut the layers for the front. I embossed the bottom layer with the diamonds folder and the top with Swiss Dots. I cut the squirrel also from CAC and stamped the face with a SAD Peachy Keen Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed face stamp. To finish I hand cut the tag and stamped the sentiment using a stamp from Scrappy Mom's Furry Friends set. I then attached it with some twine and pop dotted the squirrel to the card.
For the box, I used a gable box that I had bought and added the squirrel with a HAPPY face, an acorn that I stamped the sentiment on to, and added a bow made out of Crinkle Ribbon. I attached it with a decorative brad and I filled the box with mini chocolate bars. Chocolate is ALWAYS the best bribery! :)
I am going to enter this into Peach Keen's LFIF challenge. This time the challenge is to make a shape card and include a PK face stamp. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

Back To School With Hello Kitty
Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Whimsical Wednesday's! This time the challenge is Back To School...NO cards. Our talented designer Faith came up with this fantastic challenge.
First I have to say that I had SO much fun making this cute little set! This backpack was actually very easy to make. I cut the backpack from Camping Critters at 10 1/2 inches. I didn't want the sleeping bag roll so I simply omitted those cuts. I used my sewing machine and did a stitching line down the straps and around the flaps on the pockets. I cut Hello Kitty at 2 inches from Hello Kitty Greetings. After it was all assembled I decided I wanted a stitching line around the flap too so I did that with a white gel pen. This backpack holds a box of crayons perfectly!
For the pen box I used a pattern that can be found HERE. I originally wanted to make a pencil box but this pattern wasn't tall enough to hold pencils. I estimated approximately where I would need a window cut out for my box and cut the rectangle using George and Basic Shapes. I then lined up my pattern over the cut out for perfect alignment and cut out the box. I added a piece of acetate to the window and assembled the box. I modified the closure flap a little and added a border punched strip to it and the background of the decorative strip. I cut Hello Kitty again but this time at 1.5 inches.
I hope you all enjoyed seeing my projects and will play along this week! I can't wait to see what you will create! And don't forget to check out what the other fabulous designers have created this week!Have a great day!

Senior Year Keychain
Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is "Back To School".
I created this keychain for my son who will be a Senior this year (this is SO unbelievable! My baby is almost done with High School!) He LOVES football and the season has just started so that's what I used as my inspiration for this project.
I started by cutting a solid football at 2.5 inches from Car Decals out of a recycled cereal box to give it some sturdiness. I then cut the football, front and back and the layers for the front. The font and font shadow was cut from Robots that I welded together in my Gypsy. Once it was all glued on I added some white gel pen highlights to the letters. Then I ran it through the laminator on my Your Story. I was kind of disappointed how it wrinkled and didn't all laminate correctly. So I ran it through twice. My only thinking for this is that it was too thick. To finish I punched the hole and added a keychain ring. Thank goodness for the Crop-A-Dile because it was really thick!
I hope you all enjoyed my project and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!
P.S. He is ACTUALLY using it too! He made a smart comment about my laminating skills and then put it on his keychain! :) This makes me happy because I know that he actually liked it! LOL!

You Light Up My Life!
Happy Friday everyone! I am SO EXCITED! My order from Peachy Keen came in today and I couldn't resist making this quick card. I LOVE Peachy Keen Face Stamps! They're so much fun.
For my card I cut the sun at 3 inches from Simply Chramed. I stamped the face with PK's Wide Eyed Kids stamp. I used my white gel pen for the highlights on the eyes, an orange colored pencil for the eyelids and mouth, orange chalk for the cheeks, and highlighted it with a black pen. I punched border strips with a punch and mounted that to the background center. I stamped the sentiment which is from Pink By Designs Be Mine set and mounted the sun to pop dots. Super quick, but OH SO CUTE! I hope you are having a great day and thanks for looking!
I am going to enter this into My Craft Spot's Monday challenge. The challenge this week is "You make me smile".

We Wish You A Berry Christmas!
Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for Tacky Tuesdays Challenge. This month the challenge is to use a berry/fruit cut and the word Berry.
I am sticking with my Christmas in July cards for this one! I thought this would be something different. I cut the strawberries from Simply Charmed and stamped the faces with Peachy Keen face stamps. The hats were cut from Jolly Holidays. One is just the hat cut that I blacked out and the other is the blackbirds hat. The music notes were cut from Paisley. I printed the sentiment off my computer and used a border punch for the bottom. To finish I added white accents on the music notes , tied a ribbon and mounted the strawberries on pop dots. All of the pattern paper is from the new Recollections Bright And Jolly paper pad. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

Penguin Card
Hello everyone! Isn't this card just SO CUTE!!! I love how it turned out. I made this card to enter into My Creative Times Throwback Thursday and More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday challenges. For Throwback Thursday you were to make a Christmas card and incorporate material and for Wacky Wednesday it is Christmas In July.
I cut the penguin from Simply Charmed and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. For his scrarf I cut a strip of polar fleece and wrapped it around him and tied it. I attatched him to the card with pop dots. The North Pole sign was cut from Jolly Holidays and so was the bird. For the bird's hat I added a pom pom to the circle end and a strip of fiber to the brim. The sentiment tag was cut from Once Upon A Princess. I stamped the sentiment and used my I-Rock to attatch the white gems.
I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!
