Halloween Z Fold Card

Good evening everyone! Cricut Cardz Challenge blog's challenge this week is to make a Halloween Z fold card. I had a lot of fun creating this card.....there's lots of Cricut cuts on here. I cut the skeleton (4 inches) and the tree (4 inches) from Paper Doll Dress Up. The iron gate is cut at 3.5 inches from October 31st. And the grass/graveyard(3.5 inches) , the big grave(4 inches) and the bat (2 inches on real dial size) was cut from Happy Hauntings. I chose to hand write in the "Willy Rot" because it was to small to try and glue....thats why it's a little off center. I pop dotted the grass/graveyard and fence on the front of the card and I pop dotted the big grave also. The bat I pop dotted too, but I put double the thickness on the wings so they look like he's flying. The moon I cut from George at 2.5 inches and just squared it off to fit in the corner of the card. The sentiment is a Peachy Keen stamp. I hope you all are having a great day! Take care!
I'm also going to enter this in Getting Cricky's halloween challenge.

Halloween Blog Updates

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd let you know that I did a little decorating to my blog. I only thought it proper to put up some Halloween! LOL! I completely messed up my header, so if anyone has any idea on how to fix it, I would love to hear. My headers keep ending up off center and I can't figure out how to fix it. And I don't have my old one because I deleted it! Well, at least I hope you all enjoy the new look. Have a great weekend!

I cut it at 2 inches. Yes, 2 inches. The first time I cut it at 4 inches and it was HUGE! I thought this was the perfect image for this challenge. The sentiment is printed off my computer and the paper is Imaginisce Apple Cider. I did some chalking and white pen on the pumkin and vine. I cut the pumpkin vine twice and pop dotted the pumpkin. I also inked around the edges of the green and off white and addeda ribbon. Have a great day all!

Encouraging Bookmark

Hi everybody! Today I made a bookmark tag for a school child. The idea behind this is that everytime they open their book they will get these words of encouragement. I just recently got Simply Charmed and couldn't wait to cut some of these images out. This cart has some of the cutest things on it. I designed this bookmark in DS so the images sizes are approximate. The tag I cut at 5 inches from TBBM. The piece of paper was cut at 4 inches and I chalked over the lines to make them show up more( didn't it turn out cute) The scissors I cut at 2.5 inches and put Glossy Accents on the handle to make them shine. The glue was cut at 2 inches and the pencil at 3.5 inches. I used the hide contour feature for all the faces except for the pencil. I also added an eyelet to the tag's hole to make it a little stronger and then put ribbon through it and a button on the glue bottle. The sentiment is stamped from My Favorite Things Essential Sentiments.
I am entering this into 3 challenges:
1. Crafting With Cristina- School themed
2. Fantabulous Cricut's Crawl-Button Up For School
3. Paper Cutz- Tags

Fall Spiced Cider Box WMC22

Good afternoon everyone! It's getting to be that time of year so I decided to make a Spiced Cider gift box. I got the idea and the dimentions for the box here. I tweeked up my box a little bit in Design Studio and this is what I came up with. I had this new Imaginisce Apple Cider paper that I couldn't wait to use and it worked perfect. I cut the racoon from Create a Critter at 3 inches and the marquee frame from Storybook also at 3 inches. The poem I made up with parts from various ones I found on the internet. I used my center point button on my Expression to cut the frame around the sentiment that I had printed off the computer. Then I cut the shadow for the fame also. On the inside of the box I used a tree from Simply Charmed cut at 3.75 inches for the window, covered it with acetate on the inside of the box, and filled the box with single serve packets of Spiced Cider drink mix. I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!
I am also going to enter this at Wee Memories. The challenge over there is "fall".

Spooky Spider Card

Hi everyone. I'm finally able to create a little today. This card I did for 2 challenges: CARDZ TV and Getting Cricky. Both are Halloween challenges. I just found Getting Cricky and it looks like it has fun challenges. The prize for this Halloween challenge is a new Thanksgiving cart from Memory Miser(one of my favorite places to shop!) The challenge is open until Sept. 30th and you can enter as many times as you want. OK, on to the card! The spider is from Paper Doll Dress Up cut at 2.5 inches, the web is from October 31st cut at 5 inches, and the sentiment is from Happy Hauntings cut at 1 inch. I trimmed the card around the web on 2 sides to get this look....it had needed something and this worked perfect! I also added some google eyes to the spider and some jewels under the sentiment. I hope you all are having a great day! Take care!

Folded Window Owl Card

Good morning everyone! I decided to try something new and made a folded window card. I followed the tutorial here. Sherri over at Jitterbuggin had this option added into this weeks challenge. I decided to go for it and it sure was easy! And the end result is great! I love the look of this folded frame. I used double sided paper to make my folded frame and I used 2 of my favorite colors. Teal and celery green. I also cut this owl from Hoot N' Holler at 2 inches. I cut the scallop cirlcle from Accent Essentials at 4.5 inches. This card turned out so cute! I hope you all like it too.

I am entering this into Jitterbuggins Challenge and also Cricut Cardz Challenge which was scalloped circle, square, etc.

Pink Birdie

Hi everyone. In honor of one of my favorite Cricuteer's I made this card. Cuttlebug Challenges weekly challenge is inspired by My Pink Stamper. Robyn was one of the first people who taught me through her site how to create things with my Cricut. This week's challenge is to make something using primarily pink(in honor of Robyn), stamp a sentiment on the front, and of course cuttlebug somewhere. I cut this bird from Create a Critter at 3 inches. The striped backround I embossed with the diamond Cuttlebug folder and the bird with Swiss Dots. The cloud was stamped and embossed with divine swirls. I added a little bling to the bird's flower and a double tied ribbon on the side. I hope you all are ready for a nice long weekend......I know I am! :) Have a great and safe weekend!
