The Queen of Hearts

Hi All!
I made this card to put in Momo's Tuesday Challenge. The challenge is to make a card with black, white, and one other color. I cut my Queen of Hearts from OUAP at 3.5 inches. Her dress is the Princess dress on page 33. After her dress was done I took a heart punch and punched out the hearts in the bottom of her dress and then put red paper behind. I also chose not to use her lips but instead draw in a heart for her mouth. I decided to make the card itself look like a playing card so I added the Q's and hearts to the corners and drew the black lines in to look like the frame of the card. I hope you all are having a great day! Take care!

Matching Halloween Card and Bag

Good evening everbody! I have been in my craft room all afternoon playing with my new blue Cuttlebug! :D When I ordered my Cuttlebug I decided to order some die cuts too. That is what inspired me to make this adorable matching set. I cut the witch from OUAP at 3.75 inches and embellished her with one of my new Cuttlebug sets called Disney's Tricks and Treats Die and Emboss Set. I used the witches hat, the couldron, the stick (wich is actually the broom) and the candy. Her dress is Dress 2 and I embossed it with the Skeleton Scroll Cuttlebug folder. Her stockings were cut from the Fairy costume. The bag is also cut from OUAP at 6.25 inches and then before I glued it all together I took my 1.75 inch circle punch and punched a hole in the center of the bag. I then added some acetate to the back of the circle hole so I could fill the bag with candy. For the handle on the bag I used some wire and threaded on some beads to create the handle. I used Happy Hauntings for both sentiments and shadows. I hope you all enjoy this. I am also going to enter this in Erin Lee Creative. She has a Halloween challenge going on sponsored by Oh My Crafts. Take care everyone!

WMC19 Hello Cupcake Gift Bag

Hi everyone. This is what I made to enter at wee memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge. This week the challenge is Sweet Treats with Ribbon. I cut this bag from TBBM at 5.5 inches. The cupcake I cut from Doodlecharms at 2 inches. It had a candle on it but I didn't want the candle so I trimmed it off. I also added Glossy Accents to the sprikles on the cupcake. The sentiment is stamped and the tag is punched from Fiskars punches. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Take Care!

Throwback Thursday Frame It

Hi everyone. This is the card I made for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge this week. The challenge was to make a frame card and use the Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge. I cut the spider web from PDDU at 4.5 inches, the frame from Storybook at 5 inches, and the sentiment from Happy Hauntings at 1.5 inches. On the inside I cut the cat from PDDU at 2 inches. I used my Center Point button on my Expression to cut the cirle on my card and the frame. I really like that feature! I also did some penning on the cat in silver to give him a little more personality and to show up better. I think this turned out so cute! I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Raking Leaves FC Challenge #23

Over at Fantabulous Cricut this week the challenge is The Great Outdoors. Every year we have to go out and rake leaves, so this seemed like a great page idea. I cut the tree from SYI and the title from Life's a Beach. The boy is cut from PDDU....I had to do some changes to get him this way. I cut his hair and pants from the groom, his shirt from the pirate that I then trimmed off the jagged edges, and the shoes from Dracula. The rake I designed in Design Studio. For the leave piles I just ripped up a bunch of paper and glued it on randomly.

WMC18-Momo Baby Card

Hi everyone! This is the card I am entering in Momo's "Babies, Diapers, and Onesies, Oh My"challenge and Wee Memories Buttons, Brads, and Bling Challenge. I cut this cute little baby from Stretch Your Imagination at 5 inches. I cut 1 normal cut baby and 2 blackout. I also cut out the outfit 2 times in order to get the onesie and diaper. I just trimmed off the legs and arms to make it look like a onesie and the same with the diaper. The reason I cut 3 babies was so I could cover up all the brads, eyelets, and colored paper for the face on the inside of the card. I put it together by scoring both layers and then glued it together at the top. I also did some chalking on the baby, diaper, and onesie. I hope you all are having a great day!

Scrappy Saturday Challenge

Jenny over at Wee Memories is having an awesome givaway! She also has a weekly challenge there every Saturday. You should check it....I'm going to! :D

Life's A Beach Lizard cut

BBTB2's challenge this week was to use the Life's a Beach Lizard cut. I cut this lizard at 3 inches and the frames I cut from Storybook at 3.5 and 3.75 inches. The flowers are also from LAB and they were cut at 1 inch. I pop dotted the lizard to give him some dimention and put google eyes on him. I also embossed him with the Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

This is the card I made for Jitterbuggin's challenge this week. For this challenge you were to use this sketch, put a cricut vehicle on it, and use a button. I cut the zebra in car from Pailey at 2.5 inches. I used glitter paper for the car and a button for the center of the flower. I then added puffs of smoke coming out of the tail pipe. This turned out so cute! I love the glitter paper....it really adds some flair to the car.

Coffin Treat Boxes

Hi everyone! I decided to make a couple of these cute coffin boxes from Happy Hauntings. The box is cut at 7.5 inches and the colored top layer (shift layer 2) is cut at 7 inches. After some experimenting this was the perfect size. I tried cutting it at fit to page but it cut at 11.5 inches! Huge.....in case you want to go really big! Like almost a small gift box huge. Also, in case anyone was wondering the "coffin box" is the bottom and the layer 1 is the top. And they fit together really good. Anyway, Dracula and Frankie are cut at 3.5 inches. There are alot of layers for the faces....shadows and such. After cutting several of these I decided just to color in the shadows with colored pencil to see how that worked...it worked fine. Otherwise the faces get REALLY thick. I also did alot of white and black pen on them seeing as how their clothes are very plain and one piece. Well, I hope you all are enjoying the weekend!

Cuttlebug Challenge #96

This is my entry for Cuttlebug Challenge this week. For this challenge you had to use acetate in your project. I made this gift box from TBBM and cut the top to have a window in it. I embossed the acetate for the window and another small left over piece for the tag. I stamped a sentiment on the orange paper and then layered the acetate over it for the tag. I ran a piece of ribbon around the box and through one layer of the tag and then fastened the acetate down with brads. I think this would make a great gift box. Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Zoo Friends Mini Album

Fantabulous Cricut is having an animal theme shaped mini album challenge. They are giving away a Celebrations Cricut Cartridge as the prize, so I decided to make one. This is my first shaped mini album. I had alot of fun making it. I designed my book in Design Studio and used old cereal boxes instead of chip board. Most of the animals are cut from Create A Critter, even the double sided bird that is actually a tag and can be pulled up. Some of the other things were cut from B is for Boy (Kangaroo) and the branches from the giraffe page were cut from Hoot N' Hooler. I don't own a Bind It All, so I tied my book together with ribbon. I hope you are having a great weekend!
I had to post all the pics in seperate posts so please scroll down to see the rest of the book.

11 pm Cuttlebug Challenge
My last project for the Christmas in July 24 hour Challenge. For this challenge you were to make a Magic Mug Cake. I followed the directions and made up this mug cake. The tag has the ingredients and direction on how to make it. I cut out the snowman and embossed it with Swiss Dots. The inside I punched some snowflakes and added them to the inside.
